[thrive_drop_caps color='blue' style='2′]Being an affiliate marketer – no matter what you are selling – I can assure you there will be a significant amount of competition (Assuming you are in a competitive niche). There could be a multitude of other affiliates sending/offering the same product as you – anywhere around the world.

So, guess what?

If you think it’s a good idea running around the Internet distributing banner ads all over the place, do not be surprised if you do not see a return on your investment i.e. really poor sales results.

Essentially your ads will get lost in all the noise and business. And typically, especially if you’re against super affiliates, don’t be surprised of your results!  Super Affiliates will outsell a newbie, inexperienced affiliate at any given time – it’s not personal, it’s just business.

However,…

Getting roughed up by the competition really is for the average affiliate marketer – The fact that you are reading this post means you are serous about your craft and not average!

Common sense would suggest that once you know the same secrets as the super affiliates, guess what? You can outsell your competition with your eyes closed.[/thrive_drop_caps]

What I want to do right now is to show you three (3) simple but super effective (do not dismiss these) methods that will help you to convert into a top affiliate – The Super Affiliate Formula (if you will). You will know by your results not just by your actions.

Firstly,

You must have heard the phrase

if you pay close attention to what the top affiliates are doing, you will definitely notice some major big deals compared to an ‘average' affiliate marketer.

I can pretty much guarantee that they (the super affiliate) are not driving cold traffic to the sales pages of whoever there promoting.
What you will see that the majority of successful affiliates try traffic to their own landing pages or lead pages:

This enables them to build a list first (very important)
Now they’ve built a list it’s much easier to engage the audience (Know, like and trust)
Then it’s far easier to focus these warm leads direct to the super affiliates link to purchase the product.
Now I know the process sounds simple but it’s not easy. Let’s go through the process step by step…

So you set up a lead page, giveaway lovely shiny objects known as lead magnets in order to build your list – rightly so.

Obviously, you send out a bulk load of emails to that list – thinking that you’re warming them up and building trust et cetera. et cetera

Then you start, sending offers as if there was no tomorrow (stay with me here) …
And then you wait…

And then send more emails, promoting more products, and then you wait…

What happens?

Nothing, nada!

And why do you think this is?

Because your list is completely unresponsive… Dead as a door nail!

It doesn’t mean that every single email that you send will be opened by your list. Let’s face it the only person that open every email you send will be a mum or dad. Outside of that relationship basically you need to build up trust.[/thrive_drop_caps]

I will give you some tips to help you out…

You need to send out goods content, I’m talking about educational and entertaining aka “Edutaining” content and that applies to every email you send.

At the end of the day (and you know this is true) your prospects want solutions and answers to their problems. No one wants to be bored when receiving any form of information just go back to school or university days… See what I mean?

So here’s a few tips that will definitely help you get more engagement out of your audience:

It’s imperative that you test and test and test some more until you find the sweet spot (what works) and then do more of that rather than spending your time doing the wrong thing.[/thrive_text_block]

[thrive_text_block color=”purple” headline=”It's Important To Share Your best Stuff For Free!”]The benefit of giving your best stuff away that when your subscribers see the awesome stuff that you are sharing their trust will grow towards you literally in leaps and bounds and take it from me they will be running after you to buy your products or whatever you are offering. The other added benefit is that you will trip the reciprocity trigger, which basically means that your subscribers will feel obligated and compelled to give back which could most likely mean that they want to buy from you rather than anybody else. [thrive_text_block color=”green” headline=”It's A really Good Idea To Email Your Subscribers Often”]It’s very hard to build a relationship by talking to someone every so often – once in a blue moon you need to keep it regular. Imagine when you visit your local grocer’s, you see the owner every day, yet they failed to even acknowledge you or say hello until it’s Christmas or sales time… I’m sure you’d feel quite disappointed by that?

It’s the same for marketing online also. In the spirit of edutainment email at least weekly if not twice a week if possible.

In fact, the best businesses are the ones that treat people like people and not like a pound or dollar sign. Focus on solving their problems and money and the money will chase after you. You should only recommend the best products to your readers. Treat others how you would want to be treated – make sense right?

  • That’s what your readers want.
  • They want to hear about the benefits of the products;
  • They want to hear about your opinion on what you think about product;
  • They want to know they should buy or not.
  • Let me share something with you (this is a top tip so listen closely) …

They don’t want to sort through the mounds of information that’s out there all by themselves just to make a decision if the product is right for them not. Your readers want You to tell them.
But there’s a special technique that you must learn…

It is vital that you pre-sell the offer. (I know it’s sounds simple, everything is simple when you think about)

How do you presell?

You need to send out multiple emails that cover the full benefits of the product and each email must also be able to address any plausible objections that may come from your followers and potential buyers.

You have got to ‘warm up’ the audience to that offer. There’s no ‘wham Bam thank you mam’ mentality.
It’s like I said before – Know – like – and trust.[/thrive_drop_caps]

 

Thirdly and Finally,

There’s another way to smash your competition…

[thrive_drop_caps color='blue' style='2′]We have already discussed that there is a vast amount competition out the in the affiliate marketing space – regardless of the niche. So a really neat technique that you can implement immediately is to increase the value to the offer.

The long and short of this is that you can add additional products, provide a service, a bonus, basically something desirable and super relevant but also is valuable.

I really hate when I see bonus offers of last week’s PLR deal plus some ancient e-book bundled together and called a bonus. It really puts me off! So just be mindful of what you consider to be a valuable bonus.[/thrive_drop_caps]

A good idea is either to re-purpose the PLR so it at least looks like something unique to you.

Or if you have the privilege of offering other products and services that you own or have the rights to you can offer this as long as this is relevant.

It really does make a difference and buyers will make a conscious decision to purchase from you rather than someone else.

Whilst I think about it, doing a review of the product via video and then further instructional content which you believe will be beneficial is a really good idea especially at any as a bonus.

It is unique and specific to you and adds complete value (great for software products)

Another example:

Imagine you’re selling an e-book on a topic or subject matter let’s say copy writing for instance.

You might put together a substantial swipe file of headline and powerful emails that have been proven to work in the past and this could be the basis of your unique and super relevant bonus.
Whichever niche you are in I’m very certain you can come up with a good bonus. My philosophy… Is to treat others how I would want to be treated. Follow this and you can’t go wrong.

  • and finally, we looked at the power of giving bonuses – adding value

All these free tips work! Period!

You will then have a mighty powerhouse of skills that will tip the scales in your favour (in terms of your affiliate business).
